KAURI GUM ON FIRE
Press Association. AUCKLAND, September I. An outbreak of tire occurred in about 20Q tons of kauri gum dust at Lichtenstein and Arnoldson’s store yesterday. Considerable damage was done, but it was confinc-d to the dust, which was valued at £2OOO. The total stock in tho store was valued at £25,000. and was insured m the South British Company for £7OOO or £BOOO.
