TO PREVENT EXPLOITATION Mil MASSEY WANTS SUGCPJSTIONS. A pointed question was put to the Prime Minister in He House a few days ago by Mr J. Vigor Brown, member for Napier, regarding the abnormally high, cost ot living. t'esterday Mr Massey replied ns follows: country of the Umpire, the cost of Jivin'' has increased considerably since the war broke out. This, unfortunately, is unavoidable, as the cost ot production has gone up enormously all over tile world. Thu Board of I rade lias instructions to do everything possible to prevent exploitation, and 1 shall lie glad to receive feasible suggestions on the subject from aify member of the House.”
