PARLIAMENT
YESTERDAY’S SITTING LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL PRESENTATION OF ADDRESS-IN-REPLY ANNOUNCED FOR TO-DAY. The Acting-Speaker (the lion. TV. CF. Cnrncross) took the chair at 2.30 p.m. CONGRATULATIONS. On the suggestion of Sir Francis Bell it Was decided to send a message of congratulation to the Hon. T. Mac-Gib-bon on the attainment of the 50th anniversary of his marriage, which took place that day. A week’s leave of absence was also given to the hon. member. Various Bills’ Committees were set up. ADDRESS-IN-REPLY. Sir Francis Dell announced that the Address-in-Reply to the Governor-Gene-ral's opening speech would ho presented at 10,30 a.m. the next day. At 2.35 p.m. the Council adjourned until 10 a.m. to-day.
