From Our Own Correspondent. The local Bed Cross Society has jusi sent another case of goods away, and the following articles were enclosed:— bI) many-tailed bandages, 10 hospital jackets, 2 suits pyjamas, 8 flannel undervests. i flannel underpants, 1 scarf, 3 pairs socks. A great deal of time has been spent in the making up of these goods, and although over 30 families in the surrounding districts are helping with the sewing, the ladies of the society would gladly welcome more assistance. The committee has just sent away to the Havy League two cases of clothing Of all kinds, which is to be distributed in England amongst the dependents of sailors who have given their lives lor King and country.
