A compensation case def ied in the Arbitration Court yesterday, before -Ur Justice Stringer and the regular assessors, was that of .Frederick l)u»ky v. (ianaaway and Co. Tiie claim was made in relation to an accident which occurred on the steamer X’ort X»pie> on October 13th, by which the plain titf was jammed by a derrick against a lifeboat, and bad his right collarbone fractured. Judgment was given for £35 and costs, a sum of £3O J -b. having been already paid by tin; defendant Kompany. c.lr I’. J. O'Kcgan appeared for tin; p'auil.il, and -dr fu Myors tor the defence.
