Mr 'Ward reported on the matter or schools football. He stated that he had been around to a number of schools, and at least seven required football coaches, otherwise they would not bo able to enter teams this year. In one case there was no male teacher at the school, and a lady, assistant was looking after the football team. Messrs Ward, Carmen, 13uck. and Hornig were appointed a subcommittee to go into the matter of securing coaches. . . The chairman stated that tho union was badly in heed of money to liquidate its debts, and a scheme had been outlined to get a number of honorary memuers' tickets printed, which would cost about 10s each, and also entitle the holder to use for a season. They had a big debt to meet, and unless .the money were forthcoming it would mean that they would lose Athletic Park.. Already they had. practically sold between twenty and thirty tickets, and hoped that this appeal would meet with a ready response. ’ • '
