Coleman, of Palmerston North, with an 8 h.p. Indian; J. Dauber. Palmerston North (34 h.p. Indian). 2: J. A. Karton. Palmerston North, (ii 8.5. A.), 3. Time. 16min. The average speed was 58 miles per hour. Coleman led practically the whole wu/ and won by three-quarters of a lap.
