Judgment was given by Mr Justice Chapman in a case concerning the provisions of tho Mortgage Extension Act, jn the originating summons between Robert Wiggins Southee and' Albert Hardy Finnis. The plaintiff asked tho court to decide the true construction of section 7 of the Act, in respect to a lease of land containing a purchasing clause. His Honour, iu giving judgment, decided the points raised in favour of the plaintiff, Southee, and held that he had made put his right to relief under tho Act.
