Brown and others, has been dismissed, the appellant paying his own costs, but not respondent 8 . The appeal involved the validity ot a charitable bequest contained m the will of Edward William Knowles, deceased of Njipier. The value of the bequest was ’£70,000. The case came before the Appeal Court m Wellington. and the bequest was held to b<s void by a majority of the court, only His Honour the Chief Justice dissentinf?- ___________
