Thb city- of Baghdad was founded in the year 763 A.D. Outside its walls is a large cemetery containing _ a tomb 'erected to the memory of Zobeidii, wife of .Caliph llaroun-al-Raschid, and the famous lady of “The Thousand and One Nights.” The Caliph flourished in the ninth century. There are over 100 mosques in Baghdad. :
