GISBORNE COLLISION
ARAHURA OFFICER SAYS LINER WAS MOVING.
Press Association. -AUCKLAND. March 25. At the. nautical inquiry regarding the Gisborne collision, Alexander Piper, chief officer of the Arahura, stated that the liner was moving towards iho Arahura, ho thought at tho rnto of two or three knots an hour. He was on the port side, keeping a look-out, prior to the collision; then ho went to the starboard side, attending to the anchor.
