BALLOTED FARMERS
SERIOUS CHARGE OF ATTEMPTED EXPLOITATION. Press Association PAHLYTUA, March 19. A big meeting of Farmers’ Club and National Efficiency Board trustees unanimously resolved that Military Boards should adjourn the cases- of small farmers who cannot arrange for their farms to bo satisfactorily taken over till the end of the First Division Reserve list. One speaker suggested that dairy company directors should he supervisors at the ballot for men’s dairy farms. A prominent dairy company secretary declared that on three different occasions lately ho had been offered outside valuation fees to give impressions and particulars of farms of men called up in tho First Division. He had refused to act, and had expressed disapproval of such action. Another dairy company secretary said such persons should bo exposed. Their names should be sent to the authorities.
