It has been decided to form a cricket club composed solely of members employed in the Base Records Office, and to affiliate with the Wellington Cricket Association. The following officers were elected ; —Patron, Hon. James Allen; president. Major Norton Francis; vice-presidents, Major J. H. Bartlett, Captain Vine, Lieutenant Massey, Messrs B. A. Marris, and C. A. Mathieson; committee. Lieutenant Valentino, Corporal Taylor, Messrs Cleland. Emmins, Maysmor, Warnes, and Watson; secretary and treasurer Sergeant F. R. Lightfoot. It is possible to fill a dry glass beyond the level of the brim.
