Seattlo reports that a train on the Great Northern Railway was over■vfaelmea by a snow-slide near the summit of the Cascades. A dumber of cars were carried down 300 feet into a gulch, from which voices vrei o hcord. Tho baggage and sleeper cars remain on the line. Efforts are being made to reach the overwhelmed cars.
