CONSTANT SUPPLIES FOR TROOPS

* HASTINGS, January 24. The Fruitgrowers’ Association has decided to arrange for a free constant supply of fruit in season to the various militany ramps, the troopships, and tlie Philomel. The chairman stated that if locll orchafdists contributed only 1 per cent, it would mean 500 cases. The association also • appointed a committee to look aftci orchards belonging to men an ictive service.
