GENERAL FORECAST FOR TO-DAY,

Present indications (5 p.m. yesterday) are for increasing northerly winds; weather clouding over generally,’ and rain following, especially on the West Coast and southern districts, but warm and hazy for a short time on the East Coast. Barometer falling everywhere.
