Torrance, skip) 19, beat Newtown (W. Wylie) 17. Ponsonby (M. Walker) 25, beat Otago (C. R. Smith) 18Waimate (T. M. Laing) 17, beat Kaikorai (W. Allnutt) 9. United (I. Woblf) 23, beat Wellington (E. J. Hill) 13. ■ Second Bound. Christchurch (R. Torrance) 21, beat Ponsonby (M. AValker) 16. Newtown (J. Loughton) 20, beat Canterbury (J. A. Redpath) 8R'oslyn (E. Fountain) 20, beat Canterbury (R. Borland) "20. Waimate (T. M- Laing) 13, beat United (I. Woolf) 13. Semi-Final-Christchurch (R. Torrance) 22, beat Waimate (T. M. Laing) 12. Newtown (J. Loughton) 20. beat Roslyn (E- Fountain) 13. This was Fountain's first defeat in the tournament. . The final will be played on Saturday afternoon. ' A match was also played to-day between teams representing the North and South Island, North Island winning by 339 to 260.
