Unfortunately, the shortage of " sugar will come at a time when the jam factories will require extra supplies to deal with the fruit crops. AMPLE SUPPLIES. (Received December 1, 10.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, December 1. The manager of the Colonial Sugar Company explains that the refineries have ample supplies of raw sugar for months to come. The restrictions mentioned yesterday apply only to speculative orders.
