GENERAL FORECAST FOR TO-DA*. (By the Government Meteorologist.) Present indications (5 p.m. yesterday) are for increasing cloud and haziness, with mild and humid conditions- and rain following, but warm and sultry for a short time on fhe East Coast districts. Easterly breezes, hacking to freshening northerlies in the north and increasing northerlies in the south. Barometer falling everywhere soon for a westerly disturbance likely to pass in the south about Thursday.
