SOLDIER STUDENTS
The New Zealand Dniversdty Amend-! ment Bill (Hon. J.. Hanan) was read a second time. The hill gives power to the senate of the university to grant degrees and other awards to members of - the expeditionary force who would otherwise be barred because of their absence from, the Dominion.
The bill was put rapidly through ail stages and passed. .
