Ho was by Sir Laddo from Happy Maid, and last season -won the Rimutaka Handicap at tho Wellington spring meeting with 8-2 when ho accounted for a large field, which included Pavlova. Lady Louisa. Master Lupin and Sunbird. At tho same fixture ho earned 6 9 to victory in the Pearce Handicap, when ho again met and defeated a largo field. After running into a place in several other events ho won the Thompson Handicap at tho Wellington autumn meeting with 8.2 from Haskayue. Blerlot, Expect. Byron, Beldame, Pair Rosamond, Immcr, and Royal Arms* among others. This season ho again contested tho Thompson Handicap with 9*4 on his back. He was made second favourite for the event, and won with a reserve from Pavlova, Rim a.ldo, Chortle, Hoy.
