SUIT AGAINST BANK DIRECTORS

In connection with the silver frauds in 1913, the liquidator of the Indian Specie Bank has brought a suit against nine of the directors of the bank claiming £1,110,000 sterling, the amount of the bank’s losses on silver, speculation and other impudent transactions,. also £155,000 for dividends and bonuses wrongfully paid out of capital.
