Wireless warnings directed to the British steamships Howth Head and Baron Napier that it is believed there are bombs on board have not been answered. MESSAGE FROM BARON NAPIER By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received July 13, H p.m.) WASHINGTON. July 13. The Baron Napier wirelessed that she waa unable to discover any explosives. It is hoped the Howth Head also escaped. It is generally believed that an extensive German conspiracy has been hatched to destroy the Allies’ ammunition ships. The Government is investigating.
