To the Editor "N.Z. Times. 1 ’ Sir,—l 603 the farmers'are wanting t• get foreign women out for domostio eer« want?, as they cannot get British wo* men to slave for them. I am working! from 5.30 a.m. tiE 7.30 p.m. (14 hours), and have never once been told to take « half-day off since I came here. .I think it is quite: time something, was done to’ stop these long hours. People would gob plenty of servants if ,they would treat them properly-—I am, etc;. FAIB ALL BOUND, liawke’s Bay. July sth.
