The Union Company received a wireless message yesterday' from the Moana, en route from' San Francisco, stating that the vessel is expected to reach Wellington next Thursday—due day. ALTERATION IN TIME-TABLE-The New 'Zealand Shipping Co. have found it necessary to alter the timetable of their liners leaving London, owing to the abnormal delay of their vessels in discharging and .loading at Home due to the war. The Turakina is now timed to leave London, in place of the Ruapehu, on August 20th for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, a.nd DunedinTire Buaj>ehu now takes the Eemuera s place, sailing from London on September 17th for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton; and Dnhedin. At intervale of four weeks the company’s subsequent departures from London for New Zealand will be the Remuera on October 15th, the Ruahine, Rotorua, and Eimutaka. Under this, arrangement six vessels will be carrying bn the service previously maintained by five boats.

At Wellington on Saturday last, commencing at 8 a.m- and finishing at 11.16 p.m., the Indrabarah loaded frozen meat, equal to 18,700 carcases of mutton which is believed to ; be a record for this port. While at Wellington the Indrabarah loaded 1399 bales wool. 32 bales skins, 1289 casks tallow. 687 casks pelts, 2443 cases preserved meats, 1673 bags hides, 36 barrels tallow. 18 casks lard, 10 cases sundries, 1 drum glycerine. 49 sacks peas, 28,271 carcases mutton, 25,492 carcases lamb, 2502 quarters beef. 305 cases kidneys, 82 sacks meat sundries. AMOKURA BOYS. The boys oii the Government traifiing steamer Amokura are leaving to-day for their annual' three weeks’ midwinter holidays. A few of the lads left yesterday, but the majority will proceed to their homes to-day. WAIMABINO FROM VANCOUVER. The Union Company are in receipt of cabled advice that the Waimarino has left Vancouver for Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney. The vessel will not come to Wellington. ‘ HUIA WITH EXPLOSIVES. Bannatyne and Co. ore advised that tK® auxiliary schooner Hnia, with explosives ox the Athenio from London, left Gisborne on Saturday evening for Wellington. At this port the Huia will put out 2000 packages of explosives, and will then proceed probably to Lyttelton and Dunedin. ANTIOPE BEINGS COAL. The barque Antiope, which is to be converted into a hulk on arrival at Wellington, is fixed to load coal at Newcastle at the end of this week for Wellington. Her cargo is to be discharged at Miramar for the GasworksULIMAROA FROM SYDNEY.

About - 8.30 o'clock yesterday morning the Hnddart-Parker steamer Dlimnroa arrived at Wellington from Hobart and Sydney, and berthed at No. 6 (inner tee) Queen's wharf. The vessel left Syaney at 1.15 p.m. on Thursday, and met with fine weather for two days, after which strong south-westerly winds and a heavy south-westerly swell and ram squalls were experienced OR arrival. The cargo for Wellington included transhipments ex Orsovn, Tango Maru, Zealandia, Waiwern, Atua, Opolda, Hamm. Levuka. Age. and Wodonga. The vessel brought 1000 eases of oranges and mandarins for this nort. She sailed last night for Lyttelton, and is e*ne .back .here on Thursday in. order to sail on that day for Sydney and Hobart.
