THE PLIMMER-HALL COMEDY CO.
For the Plimmer-Hall comedy season, which is announced to commence at the Grand Opera House on Monday, heavy booking is being recorded. "A Message from Mars” has always been a great favourite with AVellington audiences, and appearances point to the present occasion being no exception. For the forthcoming production an exceptionally strong company has been got together. Mr Harry Plimmer is credited with his best work" in the part of the most selfish man on earth, Horace Parker, and Mr Winter Hall, as the Messenger, is said to have a part right into his hands., Mr Paul Latham is responsible for a very fine study as the intensely pathetic tramp, and Miss Beatrice Day is seen in one of those parts which have made her name with 'Australasian audiences. The Plans are now open at The Bristol Piano Co.’s warehouse.
