BUTTER SHORTAGE IN N.S.W.
GOVERNMENT TO IMPORT SUPPLIES. By Taleeraph—Press Association—Copvris'' SYDNEY. July 8. The Government has decided to im port butter. The Hon. D. R. Hall stated that he would have preferred to have left the importation to private enterprise, but the merchants, discovering they could get a penny per pound more in other States, would send it away.
