Shirtcliffe: — “That, the St. Paul’s (Thomdon) School Society, incorporated under the Religious Charitable and Educational Trusts Act, 1908, until lately trustee of the St. Paul’s Tinakori road property, in the city of Wellington, having retired from the trusts of such property in favour of Allan Macdonald Johnson, M.A., William Frederick AVard, John AVilliam Allman Marchant, Ernest Henry Anderson, and Richard Butler Rigg„ this Synod here,by consents to such trustees being separately incorporated under the said Act as trustees of the said property, under the name of ‘The Saint Paul’s ‘{Thomdon) Tinakori Property Trust Board,’ and further consents to the St. Paul’s Thorndon School Society and the said Allan Macdonald Johnson, William Frederick Ward, John AATlliam Allman Marchant, Eirnest Henry Anderson, and Richard Butler Rigg transferring the said Tinakori road property to the new incorporated trust board upon the trusts affecting such property.” The Rev. AA r . G. Williams moved — “That this Synod recognises the responsibility and privilege of supporting the "work of the British and Foreign Bible Society.” The mover said that the society was one of those great arsenals on which missionaries depended almost entirely for the supply of the Scriptures, and without which they could not carry on their work. He referred to the work which the society was carrying out among the soldiers at the front, and said the society bore the unmistakable stamp of proof of Divine favour. The motion was carried unanimously. Other matters dealt with by the Synod are’ reported separately.
