FARMERS AND CO-OPERATION
Frees Association ' CHRISTCHURCH, July 7. A scheme set forth definitely about five years ago to establish a Federa- ; tion of Farmers’ Co-operative Associa- j tions in Now Zealand was brought , into operation in Christchurch yesterday, when a conference of delegates adopted the articles of association of the Farmers’ Co-operative IVholesale Federation, Limited. Provisional directors of the company were appointed, and ah agreement was made as to the line which the first work of the concern should follow. The new company will have an authorised capital of £IOO,OOO. Its object is to bring, into closer touch the fairly large nuir - her of farmers’ co-operative concern s now operating in New Zealand.
