TEN THOUSAND ARABS SENT TO GALLIPOLI
( Received July 8, 1.30 a.m.) ATHENS. July 7. After a heavy bombardment from the land batteries, the Allies’ infantry in. the Dardanelles, at noon on Monday, began an attack lasting until evening. Ten thousand Arabs arrived at Constantinople and the majority were sent to Gallipoli. British aircraft bombed Smyrna and Bourla.
