Robert Rosenthal, a spy, was arrested when about to leave England, travelling on a passport issued by Captain Prieser. Rosen•tlial admitted that Prieger issued United States passports in any name printed in the proper form and on the correct parchpiont, For this purpose forged- dies, reproducing the seal Vif tho United States, were utilised. •After his confession, Rosenthal attempted to' commit suicide by strangling with the bcdclothing in his cell.]
