STATUTORY MEETINGS
ELECTIONS OF TRUSTEES
In the Chamber of Commerce yesterday afternoon, statutory meetings were held by the contributors to the Wellington Convalescent Home, the Wellington Ladies’ Christian Association, and the Wellington Society for Relief of the Aged Needy, for-tho purpose of electing trustees in the places of those retiring in accordance with the constitutions of those respective bodies. In tho absence of the president (Mrs W. Moorhouse), Miss Coates presided over the meeting of contributors for the ©lection of trustees for the Wellington Convalescent Home. Tho retiring trustees, Mrs Moorhouse and Mrs (Dr.) Young, were re-elected. The Hon. J. G. W. Aitken presided over the meeting for the election of three trustees for the Wellington Ladies’ Christian Association. This also resulted in the re-election of the retiring trustees —Mrs Annie Anderson, Mrs Glasson, and the Rev; J. Paterson. For the Wellington Society for Relief of the Aged Needy, the meeting of contributors, over which Mr 1 »». Allan presided, re-elected as trustees Messrs W. J. Helyer, A. Lindsay, and G. Petherick.
