SIR RUPERT CLARKE RETURNS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrlgh% SYDNEY, August 12. Sir Rupert Clarke has returned from his expedition to the Fly River in Papua. , Ho verified Sir William Macgregor’s charts. Ho was forced to abandon two boats, but continued for a further thirty miles on foot to Mount Donaldson, where he planted the Union Jack. Ho managed- to avoid hostile relations with the natives, although trouble threatened.
