The sudden departure <?f Colonel 'Basapoff, the Russian Attache, is regarded in some quarters as connected Iwith Pohl’s and Bluimenthal’s arrest. There are rumours connecting him with the disappearance of the plans of the fortifications at Konigsberg. Although it is semi-offioially denied that ho is implicated, it is widely believed that he has been recalled.
