CARICATURIST ABSCONDS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright BERLIN, July 12. Herr Johann Walzt, the well-known caricaturist, who was sentenced to a year’s imprisonment at Leipzig for inciting class hatred and libelling the authorities by moans of his Christinas book for children, wherein ho glorified the. past rulers of Alsace at the expense of the present authorities, has absconded, forfeiting £1250 bail.
