AUSTRALIAN OUTPUT INCREASED By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright ' SYDNEY, July 10. At the sitting of the Tariff Commission a witness opposing the demand for the imposition of a duty on pyrites, now admitted free, stated that tho manufacture of artificial manures had greatly increased in the past five years, instancing the fact that a Melbourne firm was soiling phosphates in New Zealand, successfully competing with the Japanese.
