A FEATHERSTON WEDDING.

A marriage of considerable local interest took place on : Thursday, ■ when Miss Alice Pearce (“Dolly”) Homes, daughter of Mr and Mrs Henry Homes, of Featherston, and formerly of Richmond, Nelson, was united to Mr Eugene John Graham Coleman, son of Mi - William Coleman, of Richmond. The ceremony was performed in St. John’s Church, the Rev. A. T. B. Page officiating. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an Indian embroidered robe, and the usual veil and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of roses! Miss Florence Bale, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid, her dress being of white ninou over .oharmeuse, trimmed with fur, with! an orange belt, and her hat of Mack velvet adorned with autumn leaves. She carried a bouquet of white flowers. Mr Norman Jones, of Wanganui, Was best man. The present of the bridegroom to the bride was a diamond and emerald ring, and to the bridesmaid a silver , chain-bag. , After the ceremony the guests were entertained at a repast served' in the Oddfellows’ Hall. The. bride’s going-away dress was a navy blue costume with a Bare blue hat.
