NEW ZEALANDERS WIN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright MAITLAND, July 10. The New Zealand bowlers beat the Maitland Club decisively. The scores were:—Plalliser, Reid, Marker, Bush, 25; Duncan, Columb, Shearman, Nixon, 19; Lewis, McOardle, Sutcliffe, Mason, 35; Gallie, Whittingham, Thompson, Greagh, 15; INoave, Potter, Smith, Coulton, 28; Pavitt, Coles, Nash, Tasker, 22. The final scores were:—New Zealand, 144; Maitland, 96. NORTHERN DISTRICTS DEFEAT NEW ZEALAND. (Received July 12, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY July 12. At bowls at Newcastle the Northern Districts team defeated New Zealand by 134 points to 113. New Zealand scores: McCardle, Duncan, Parkinson. Coltman (s), 16; Palliser. Reid, Marker, Bush (s)", 13; Neave, Pavett, Nixon, Smith (a), 23; Lewis, Coles, Nash, Tasker (s), 16; Columb, Potter, Creagh, Thompson (s), 26; Gallie. Shearman, Mason, Sutcliffe (s), 19. Smith’s and Thompson’s were the only Jinks that secured a lead.
