Count Zeppelin, addressing the Marine Engineers’ Society, said tho truly staggering progress of the aeroplanes had forced on them the strictest consideration of tho question whether aeroplanes had not deprived dirigible ballcpns of their excuse for existence. Personally he did not believe airships were superfluous, hut experts should consider the question of passenger airships. ' ■
