TUG-OF-WAR CONTEST
Press Association. \ DUNEDIN, Juno 1. The all-comors’ tug-of-war championship contest was continued to-night, when the first round of A section was continued and the second round of B section was got off. Following are the results:—Hoffman Bros beat telegraph linesmen No. 1, Hornibrook’s culture (Christchurch) beat Inch Valley, Enfield -beat Invercargill Sailin': Boat Club. B. Section, second round.—Milburn Lime and Cement Co. beat Speight and' Co. No. 1, Dunedin "Waterside Workers No. 2 boat Gore, Stevenson and Cook No. 2 beat Telegraph No. 2, Bevans (West Coast) beat Auckland police.
