Great interest was taken to-day in the Supremo Court in the hearing of the action,in which Mrs L. D. Paterson sued Mrs J. A. Smyth for damages for alleged libel, uttered in anonymous letters concerning the conduct of Mrs Paterson and a collegiate schoolboy. The case was not finished when the court rose.
