Japanese diplomacy in Chinn is being remodelled owing to the weakened condition of China and the great energy displayed by tho Powers scrambling tor concessions.
Tho “Daily Telegraph’’ correspondent says that, though the Premier’s Count Okuma) suggestion, that England and Japan should commercially ally themselves throughout China, undoubtedly has certain impractical features, tho hour has sounded when the scope of the Far Eastern alliance should he carefully investigated by the contracting parlies and all tho possibilities of a doubtful future considered-
