AUCKLAND PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE. AUCKLAND, May 21. The provincial conference of the Farmers’ Union to-day passed the following remits:— . (1) That differential rating on tiie railways be abolished. (2) That the be asked to convey agricultural lime from the nearest available source of supply upon the railway any distance free, in - lieu or the 100 miles’ limit of free railage as at present.
