COLLISION ON BRIDGE
A HORSE KILLED. Press Association. TIMARU, May 21. While crossing the Opihi bridge in a motor-car last night, Mr G. Sutherland, manager for Bockeart's, met a dray with two horses. His car was drawn close to the left side, but the leading horse swerved to that side, and ran into the side of the car. It tore away the hood and part of tho framing entered its chest. It dropped dead at once.
The car was a good deal destroyed, but neither of the drivers was hurt.
