Mr Roosevelt denies tho statement that he intended to run a.s a Presidential candidate on a progressive ticket. He laughed when ho was informed of Mr Savage Lender's criticisms, and declared that ho was absolutely certain in his own mind that ho bad discovered a new river in Brazil.
