A deputation of women from the Political Labour League conference urged upon Mr Holman (the Premier; their claims to participate in the activities of political and municipal life, also as nominees for the Upper House. He said, in regard to women sitting in the Assembly or on municipal councils, that the Government intended to bring the constitution into line with those of more advanced States.
