£24,000,000 WANTED AT ONCE.

M. Aimont, Reporter to the Senate Finance Committee, says that France must secure twenty-four million pounds within two months or face bankruptcy. He suggests a loan or a non-inquisi-torial tax on capital and income yielding ton millions, and a tax on alcohol yielding eight millions.
