FATAL COLLISION
CONTRADICTORY EVIDENCE ABOUT' SIGNALS. Press Association. DUNEDIN, May ; 20. The inquiry into the circumstances connected with the liyal li of David Donovan, who died as a result of a collision of two engines in tho Dunedin goods yards on Friday evening last, was continued at the Magistrate's Court to-day. A large amount of evidence was taken, much of which was contradictory, as to tho position of the signal lights at tho time of tho occurrence. The inquiry will be continued tomorrow.
