Harding, of Auckland, /who is studying agricultural methods here, said that the thing that most struck him in Western Canada was tho farmers’ indifference to their .homes. Tho barns, were fine, hand.sorno buildings, bat tho homes were plain, wooden structures. Mr Harding found little to Compare in New Zealand with the Canadian farming methods, owing to tho Jong Canadian winter.
