METEOROLOGICAL
SUMMARY OF PAST TWENTY-FOUR HOURS. High southerly winds have prevailed northward of Hokitika and Kaikoura. The anti-cyclone has passed to tho south, but the storm area appears now to bo centred about 400 miles north-eastward o“ Fsast Cape. The barometer is again falling in.the north.
